Nationally, 15 year olds from a White or Mixed ethnicity background are significantly more likely to report that they are a current smoker compared to young people from Asian, Black or Other ethnic groups (Table 5). A different pattern is found for trying out other tobacco products (including shisha), which is much more common among 15 year olds of non-White origin. 2
