The City and Hackney Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) also known as the Health and Wellbeing Profile is a statutory report that presents high level evidence on the main health and wellbeing needs of the local population. Each Health and Wellbeing Board is responsible for producing updated content for the JSNA every three years. In the City and Hackney we update our content on an annual rolling basis.

The website is the collaborative effort of the City and Hackney Public Health and Hackney Council Digital Teams.

The JSNA content is produced by the Public Health team, in partnership with several organisations – in particular, the Clinical Effectiveness Group at Queen Mary University, City & Hackney CCG, local Healthwatch organisations and the Homerton University Hospital.

All data available on this site has been approved for publishing by the City and Hackney Public Health Team. For any questions relating to the content or feedback on the site, please contact the Public Health Intelligence Team.

The Public Health Intelligence team also produce a weekly bulletin with updates on recently published public health evidence, including local data where possible.

View the bulletin archive or subscribe to the mailing list here.
